Hicksville, NY, September 26, 2025 – NSA Computer Exchange Corp (NSA) is pleased to announce that Melanie Cochran has joined the Company as a Business Consultant.
Before joining NSA, Melanie served as Vice President of Operations for seven years at Hawkins HVAC Distributors Inc. In this role, she led all departments, gaining deep experience in multiple facets of Infor’s CloudSuite Distribution (CSD) platform. Prior to that, Melanie spent 20 years in Call Center Management, where she oversaw operations and spearheaded several large-scale software implementation projects from start to finish.
Melanie brings extensive expertise in areas that will directly benefit NSA clients, including:
- Training and support for Navigation, Sales Order Entry, Warehouse Operations, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Product/Customer/Vendor Setup and maintenance, User setup and security, and System Administration (non-technical)
- Implementation and training for Avalara’s AvaTax, Billtrust’s Client Connect, Phocas Reporting, and White Cup Reporting integrations for CSD
- Managing implementation and upgrade projects (such as eCommerce) from kick-off to post go-live support
- Developing policies, procedures, and training documentation
- Documenting business processes and workflows
- Leading special projects and acquisition efforts
- Providing audit support for accounting, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory processes
Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
